Christina and Tony's engagement was long but eventful - a beautiful daughter was witnessing their wedding on October 4 this year. The intimate affair took place at the elegant Chanler in Newport and the bride couldn't have asked for a better day - the sun was out and the ocean made a perfect background for their outdoor ceremony. The Wedding of Sophia and Lenny was one of the most elegant, loving affairs we've ever seen. It took place yesterday, on September 14th 2008, at one of the most beautiful places in New England, Martha's Vineyard next to the ocean and historic Lighthouse.

Congratulations to April Antonius of Dedham, MA - she is our official winner of the "trash-the-dress" on-line sweepstakes we had going.
April is getting married on Oct.18, 2008 and we're hoping to "trash" her soon after the wedding. April will be wearing a strapless a-line satin dress with beautiful beaded & rhinestone embroidery on bodice and double bustle.
To quote April: "WOULD BE AN ABSOLUTE DREAM COME TRUE IF I WON!" now, how could A Dream Team say no to that? :)

The "Trash the Wedding Dress" trend is catching on and we've made headlines offering this service to our brides. The article was published in Sundays (June 15th) Boston Globe's City Weekly section. We were honored to have the whole Globe staff (writer, photographer and videographer) follow us on a shoot we planned with Jill, one of our former brides. It was a great day that we spend at Fenway and at the Fountains at Christian Science Center, getting the bride soaked but happy. Below is the link to the article and video from the shoot.

Marian and Nick

Marian and Nick held a beautiful traditional Greek ceremony on May 31st. Of course, I spend some time with a gorgeous bride to get photos before arriving to the church -which we were not too late for, surprisingly. Not only was Marian a great model, but she was full of great fun energy that she seemed to spread to everyone around her. The bridal party could not pose for a serious 'formal' photo as they saw her smile. I was lucky to have met such a wonderful couple - Nick and Marian just compliment each other. I wish them all the best!

I had the pleasure of photographing Maria and Pavel's wedding in Needham who prefer to stay private with their photos. They seemed to have a blast with their friends celebrating in true Russian style - dancing till the end of the night. Congratulations guys!

Nicole and Derrek tied the knot at a beautiful church - St. Francis of Braintree followed by reception at Raffael's in Walpole. Nicole made a stunning bride and the camera could not get enough of her 'getting ready' photos at her parents' house. Congratulations guys!

Meanwhile... Edward was taking photos of Danielle and Matt who got married on the deck of the Odyssey ship in Boston. The weather could have cooperated better, but it didn't break the couple's fun spirit. Congrats!!!

I had the pleasure of photographing Catherine and Michael's wedding past Saturday (April 5th). What a great couple and family! From the moment I arrived at the bride's house, I could feel the warmth from Gleasons and was lucky to catch a great moment of Catherine tearing up while her father was playing piano for her.
The couple was shining walking down the isle after their 'i-dos' and even the weather cooperated and we were able to take some shots outside of the beautifully elegant Harvard Club where the reception was held. Here are just a few of some shots I liked. Congratulations guys!

Lake View Pavilion

Lake View Pavilion in Foxboro is one of our most frequented wedding venues. We have been preferred vendors with them for a while now. The location is perfect for a wedding since there is free parking and there's never more than one wedding happening at once. Plus, Lake View has some really beautiful spots for photography and videography.

Open House

On Sunday, February 24, A Dream Picture will be holding an open house/wine tasting at Newport Vineyards in Middletown, RI. It should be a good time and an easy way for interested brides to get a better understanding of wedding photography and videography as well as East Coast wines!

We have been doing Rhode Island weddings for a while now, but it becomes difficult to meet up with our existing and potential RI brides. We thought this would be a fun relaxed way to showcase some of our work and listen to the questions and concerns of the brides- many of whom are planning their weddings out-of-state.

It's nice to be featured for an engagement session. These photo shoots are a fun way to capture pictures of couples when they are not stressed out about the day going well, and in a location that means something special to them. We often hold engagement sessions where the couple met, but we're open to a lot of fun, new ideas as well.

Besides engagement photo shoots, we also capture love stories and engagement videos so that you can re-enact and relive how you met, or simply have a chance to tell the camera (and future generations) the many things that initially attracted you to your significant other- and the things that keep you smiling day-to-day.

Best of 2008 Weddings!

In 2006, The Knot asked recently married brides to take a survey commenting on their wedding vendors. About 25,000 brides took this survey. In response to all of the comments the brides made, The Knot released a magazine issue entitled, "The Knot Best of Weddings." This issue highlighted the best vendors according to the brides themselves.

Each year, this issue has helped countless brides decide who to use for their various wedding services...

We just found out that A Dream Picture will be featured in the 2008 issue of "The Knot Best of Weddings" due to the comments made in 2007!
